Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to My Kitchen (the "App"), owned and operated by TailTalk LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using My Kitchen, you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use My Kitchen.

2. Description of Service

My Kitchen helps you store, organize, and track personal recipes, manage a pantry ingredient list, and optionally share recipes and ingredients with household members. Features include recipe image uploads, ingredient availability tracking, and real-time household sync.

To use cloud sync and household features, you may sign in using your phone number or Apple ID. The app is fully usable without an account — guest usage stores data locally on your device only.

My Kitchen requests access to your photo library and camera solely for adding images to your recipes. Push notifications are used exclusively for phone number verification during sign-in — we do not send marketing notifications.

My Kitchen is provided on an "as-is" basis without guarantees regarding uptime, performance, or data integrity.

3. Premium Subscription

My Kitchen offers an optional auto-renewable Premium subscription that unlocks unlimited household creation and joining. Two plans are available: $2.99 per month and $19.99 per year. Both plans include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. After the free trial ends, your subscription automatically renews at the selected price unless you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by going to iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Free trial eligibility is determined by Apple and is available only to new subscribers who have not previously redeemed a free trial.

If your Premium subscription lapses, your existing households are retained and remain accessible. However, you will be unable to create or join additional households beyond the free tier limit until you resubscribe. See Section 4 (Households) for details on free tier limits.

4. Households

My Kitchen allows you to create and join households to share recipes and ingredients with other users in real time. The free tier allows up to 3 households total — any combination of created and joined. Premium subscribers may create and join an unlimited number of households.

The household creator can dissolve the household at any time. Dissolving a household permanently deletes all household data, including all shared recipes and ingredients. This action is irreversible and affects all members.

Members who did not create the household can leave at any time. Leaving a household removes only your membership — the household and all its shared data remain intact and accessible to other members.

5. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (e.g., 18 years old in many places) to use My Kitchen. By using My Kitchen, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

6. User Accounts

• Registration: You may sign in using your phone number (via SMS verification) or your Apple ID. You may also use the app as a guest without creating an account — guest data is stored locally on your device. Upon first sign-in, local data is migrated to your account if no existing account data is found. If account data already exists, it will replace local data.
• Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or illegal or unauthorized use of My Kitchen.

7. User Content

• Ownership: You retain ownership of any recipes, images, and other content ("User Content") you upload to My Kitchen.
• License to Us: By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App.
• Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content. Do not upload any material that you do not have rights to or that violates any third-party rights (copyright, trademark, privacy, etc.).
• Household Sharing: If you choose to share recipes or ingredients with a household, that content becomes visible to all current household members. You are responsible for what you share within a household.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use My Kitchen for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
• Upload malicious content, such as viruses, malware, or harmful code.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without permission.
• Reverse-engineer or otherwise attempt to derive source code from My Kitchen.

9. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, service marks, logos, and other intellectual property displayed in My Kitchen (excluding your User Content) are the property of TailTalk LLC or its licensors. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

My Kitchen is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about:

• The accuracy or reliability of the content.
• The availability or functionality of the App.
• The outcome of using any recipes or ingredient information.

You agree that any reliance on content within My Kitchen is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TailTalk LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of My Kitchen. Our total liability to you for all claims relating to My Kitchen shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for accessing My Kitchen.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TailTalk LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your User Content.
• Your use or misuse of My Kitchen.

13. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of My Kitchen after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Maryland, USA. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Maryland, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.
